Replacement blade for contouring kit

Removes interproximal tooth mass to produce additional intra-arch space. May also be used for opening or flattening contact points, recontouring or removing overhanging fillings.

The kit contains 4 different tirmmers/burs, 3 mounted lab polishers and a polishing wheel, plus a screwtype mandrel and is utilized mainly for repairs in the laboratory. All 4 burs/cutters are generally used to trim acrylic of functional appliances, the 1591 jumbo acrylic cutter to trim bulk stone of working and study models. The 2 grey medium-grit polishers are used for rough finish on acrylic repairs and the yellow fine-grit polisher for high-shine. The polishing wheel and mandrel are primarily used to polish wires and bands that have been soldered.

For patient’s emergency use when fixed appliance is irritating soft tissue. Easily applied providing immediate temporary relief.

Orthosil is a medical grade silicone for temporary relief from appliance irritation. It is clear and waterproof.

Reduces Peripheral Etching. Reminieralizing Gel will reduce peripheral etching caused by poor hygiene. Use after removing brackets and before pumicing.
